Evil rabbits, Hexagons & A Red Riding Hood Imposter

Day 67 of the Doodle Olympics - true story...

Day 68 of The Doodle Olympics - I saw a small boy determinedly squeezing himself between a wall and a lamp-post. Don't worry,  he had his mum with him, it wasn't like I saw a stuck child, and just left him there or anything.

Day 69 of the Doodle Olympics - I have no idea why I have drawn some kind of evil rabbit, in a waistcoated cowboy ensemble....

Day 70 of the Doodle Olympics - This is actually a different doodle, to the one I have from a week or so ago, I just found the triangles, hexagons and lines really relaxing, so thought I would do some more.

Day 71 of the Doodle Olympics - Inspired by patchwork quilts.

Day 72 of the Doodle Olympics - A Riding Hood type character, pretty sure she isn't the real deal though, I mean since when did Red have a balloon?

This week... Soup & zines again!

This week has seen me trying to drink lots of water, and discovering coconut water, in an effort to keep myself hydrated, as it seems like a good habit to get into. I have been lucky enough, to get my mitts on another wonderful book, to review for UK Handmade. I have been staying out of the rain... well mostly, pimping up my tomato soup, and getting overly excited at the arrival of my second installment of Solo, by Lizzy Stewart.

Straight Lines

Day 63 of the Doodle Olympics - I love circles and organic shapes, but I thought I would head towards straight line ville - yeah that's right, I'm going WILD! ;)

Day 64 of the Doodle Olympics - Sometimes the things I draw feel more like a sketch, than a doodle. Maybe it is because I spend too long on them... is there a time limit when something stops being a doodle, and becomes a sketch... or something else? This one however feels like a doodle!

Day 65 of the Doodle Olympics - The thing I am loving about straight lines, is that they take less time. With curves, you are more likely to sketch over them again and again, getting them just where you want. Not with a straight line though, no siree, you draw a line and you're done!

Day 66 of the Doodle Olympics - Granted the moon is a bit odd, but I am loving those straight line roses.

Caped Rabbits & Squirrels In Bandit Masks!

Another big blog update, but this post means my doodle blogging is up to date - yeay!!

Day 54 of the Doodle Olympics - I love simple little patterns, after the textile rug thingy, I decided I wanted to doodle more little patterns.

Day 55 of the Doodle Olympics - A sea swirl

Day 56 of the Doodle Olympics - I love going into dark caves on the beach, and looking out to the sea, although last time I did that, the cave was really dark, and I ended up scaring myself, and running out again... I'm cool... honest :)

Day 57 of the Doodle Olympics - Cute squirrel!

Day 58 of the Doodle Olympics - This is Pete, he was a character in a comedy I was listening to on Radio 4 - he stole a loaf of bread, which I don't advise anyone do, but it was very funny.

Day 59 of the Doodle Olympics - Cute rabbits...

Day 60 of the Doodle Olympics - I seem a bit obsessed with squirrels and rabbits. If in doubt draw a rabbit... although this one has a cape, and the squirrel has a bandit mask so it makes all the difference...
... oh dear, stolen bread and bandit masks, please don't think I condone a life of crime!

Day 61 of the Doodle Olympics - Chucks!

Day 62 of the Doodle Olympics - Look! It is another squirrel.

This Week... Silly Glasses, Moustaches, Chocolate & Golf

A large portion of my week was spent on a Hen Party at Centre Parcs (Sherwood).
That is our hen on the left.

Of course there is nothing funnier than taking photos of the pregnant sober lady, in a moustache, pretending to drink alcohol....

I actually had two of these, and don't talk to me about how much Rocky Road I ate :) Oh and avert your eyes now is you are easily offended...

It was a Hen Party! :D

My favourite salad at the moment, of course, it still involves a pile of cheese :)

Another book to review! I only received this yesterday, but it looks so pretty!!

Pancakes, Beanstalks, Textiles & Jelly

Day 47 of the Doodle Olympics - I think it probably says it all really. I was asking myself what to draw, and it turned into some kind of Mexican, wall hanging, rug, come woven textile thingy... and that there is technical jargon!

Day 48 of the Doodle Olympics - There is no reasoning or inspiration to this doodle... nada, it just is.

Day 49 of the Doodle Olympics - Well clearly this time I was inspired,by jelly!! Who isn't inspired by jelly, is is so full of joy, and movement, and you only ever eat it at parties, which are always fun. Please note I had no jelly :( I just happened to be thinking about jelly.

Day 50 of the Doodle Olympics - Inspired by an episode of Family Guy we were watching. We love Family Guy. I think this was a line from it, or something very much like it, but it tickled me. :)

Day 51 of the Doodle Olympics - Slightly inspired by Harry Potter, even though I was watching NCIS at the time.

Day 52 of the Doodle Olympics - Shrove Tuesday of course, except we didn't have any pancakes in our house - no don't feel bad for me, we have pancakes for breakfast on the weekend quite often. I didn't see the Maid Marian clip posted anywhere on Facebook this year though, that was disappointing.

Day 53 of the Doodle Olympics - Jack...

Last Week... In Which I Was Very Busy, Preparing For & Attending A Hen Party

So I didn't get around to writing my 'This Week' post for Friday, I had the photos taken but ran out of time, due to organising and going away for a hen party. So here I am playing catch up, and giving you a 'Last Week' post instead :) I also need to take more photos of my doodle a day images, so I can update those blog posts too, one post at a time though!
I made up little gift parcels for the hens, they included some sweets, but when I came to sort them out for wrapping, it turned out that the Drumstick lollies had started to leak, I couldn't put leaky lollies in, eurgh, so Fubby and I had to eat them instead ;)

The Hen's sash arrived, and I had lots of fun, sticking on shiny gems, and stars!

Painting little Zombie guys, that will hopefully appear on my site at some point.

Doodling names tags for the hen party parcels.

 The parcels.

My new InMe album arrived, always very exciting!!

Baking for the Hen Party - Snickerdoodles, and Mojito Cookies. :)
