It isn't quite my birthday just yet, but I do turn 30 on Sunday, so today I thought I would treat myself, and make myself a pendant. I was given some lovely turquoise chips as part of a christmas present last year, from my friend Liz, and as they were a gift I wanted to use them to make something for me. So I have mixed the chips up with a couple of my own Cleo polymer art beads, a couple of tigers eye beads and some Swarovski Elements. I think it looks awesome! :)

Happy Birthday to me!!!

The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
Well not quite, but at least the one thing better than sliced bread, your own home baked, unsliced bread. Boyfriend and I spent Saturday evening baking bread (which is more rock 'n' roll than you would think), and then we spent a good part of Sunday eating bread. We decided we would start with simple white loaves and rolls (and some cheesy breadsticks that never got to see Sunday - yum), but next time we are planning on being a little more adventurous...

Birthday Treats!
I spent Saturday evening with a couple of my closest mates, the lovely Gayley had made lots of delicious curry dishes for us to gorge on, she had worked so hard, it was like going to a restaurant! She had also made plates of yummy cupcakes, she really is a talented lady :)
As it will be my 30th, and they wanted to make it special, Gayle, Lyds, and Liz clubbed together to get me a gorgeous Friendship Bracelet from Links. I love it, it is very me, perfect colours and style, I just hope I don't do something dopey like lose it, or get clay in it, I'm not sure I should be trusted with such pretty, lovely, sparkly things - I won't be taking it off though :)
They also bought me a date with them at the Pudding Club in the Cotswolds, I can't wait, I get to gorge on pudding, who could ask for more, it sounds like heaven :) It will be a lovely girly evening :)

Congratulations on your Weddin...ahem...belated first Anniversary
It feels like I have abandoned this poor blog, I just don't seemed to get round to it at the minute, I even missed out on Folksy Friday last week, even though I had planned what to do :).
I have been making and planning, and as always desperately trying to get myself organised. I have started makes for christmas, ordered materials for cards, and tried to organise my stock.
More importantly I have finally got a wedding present sorted for my friend Rachel - it should probably be noted that she celebrated her first anniversary one month ago :). It should be in the post today, I had trouble trying to package everything, resorting to making my own box for some things, I hope she likes it :)
