Mice & Bears & A Soggy Cat

Day 264 of the Doodle Olympics - This blog post is running a day late this week as I had a day off yesterday for my birthday :). First up is a soggy cat, he isn't very happy with the current spell of rain.

Day 265 of the Doodle Olympics - More rain... a little more decorative than the real thing. 

Day 266 of the Doodle Olympics - Even more rain. Fred just wanted to get his shopping home, so he could sit down in the warm with a nice mug of coffee - unfortunately Margie wanted to tell him about her week!

Day 267 of the Doodle Olympics - Baby Bear was at the tipping point, almost at the point of no return, and poor Timmy mouse was feeling the pressure!

This Week... Watering Cans, Tea Towels & Biscotti

    

This week... Saw me receiving the Victoria Eggs tea towel that was a prize from Will and Glory, I love it, it's in my favourite colour! Hurrah! I have a new watering can... also in my favourite colour, I've needed one upstairs for the windowsill plants for ages, now I've no excuse for letting them wither. Mug Cake, it isn't big and it isn't clever, it isn't great cake, you can't keep it for another day, but if you have no cake in the house, have no time to make one, and have no access to any sweet treats, this is the answer to a  - in desperate need of cakey - emergency. I made biscotti for the first time, hurrah! It was alright. Guilty looking cat - you know how you sometimes have a sort out of old clothes and you put them in a pile on the floor, and then you turn your back for five seconds and there is a fluffy cat all over it - yeah that :)

Seaside Memories & An Obsession With Florals

Day 100 of the Doodle Olympics - We had homemade scones at the baby shower, and I have been craving more ever since, but in an effort to stop eating yummy things, I'm drawing instead.

Something Fishy & Stripy Boos

It has been so busy around here for the last few weeks, that I haven't had much time to sit down at the computer and update the Doodle Olympics. It looks set to stay that way for the next couple of weeks too, but hopefully, after that, I will be able to update a little more often. Thanks for sticking with me! :)

 

Day 81 of the Doodle Olympics - A random doodle.

Day 82 of the Doodle Olympics - Do you ever get a word stuck in you head, it just repeats itself over and over? Mine was the the word "Boo".

Day 83 of the Doodle Olympics - There was nothing really imaginative going on in my mind today, all I could come up with was an eye, and not a very good one either, oh well I will do better next time :)

This Week... Cinnamon Toast & Chicken Nuggets

This week... next door's cat didn't care is if it wasn't a box, it was still cardboard...I received another book to review... Was left alone while my other half was off on a stag, so I spoilt myself with cinnamon french toast and hot chocolate... I made the yummiest oven baked chicken nuggets, thanks to a Skinnytaste recipe found via Pinterest... I made a start on some paper flowers for my future bouquet... and some organza ones... Also had a go at making tissue paper pompoms, in preparation for my friend's baby shower.

Cake, Cat, Valentines, & A Bit Of A Catch Up

Day 40 of the Doodle Olympics - A Nanna's house, although my Nan didn't have a cat, or that wallpaper.

Day 41 of the Doodle Olympics - Cake and tea, that is all.

Day 42 of the Doodle Olympics - Ollie, next door's cat. This is actually from a photo, as he usually puts me off drawing him, by snoring really loudly. 

Day 43 of the Doodle Olympics - Everyone is gearing up for valentines day, and I just feel sorry for the posties, although admittedly, this one just looks like a very popular school boy. 

Day 44 of the Doodle Olympics - From a photo again, as I was struggling with ideas again this week. I think this was at Bury St. Edmunds Abbey. 

Day 45 of the Doodle Olympics - Fubby and I celebrate Valentines Day, but not in a huge way, we don't do presents, just a nice meal at home, and spending time together. Love is so many things, but just for the time it took to draw this, it was sherbet lemons. :)

Day 46 of the Doodle Olympics - True Story. This was a little bit inspired by Lizzie Stewart's diary - Solo, I'm not going to draw my own diary, I am no way, as talented or witty as she, but just wanted to pay homage.
