And Voila!

Today starts on a very happy note, as I have just found out some of my beads have been featured on Voila, a european polymer clay site (thank you to the anonymous comment on my last post :) ). To have some of my beads sets featured, with some of the other artists on there is a real privilege. I am happy with my bead making, but I really do think that I still have a lot to learn and a long way to go, so to get recognition from others this early on, and to be featured on their site is truly wonderful!

So I thought I would write a little about my new folksy shop. It only opened last week, but I am loving being on there. I am finding the site easy to use, and the community supportive and friendly. I am only planning on selling my beads on there for now, although that may change if folksy are able to add sections to shops. I think I will also reconsider my postage, as at the minute it is UK only, however I think I will extend to Europe if any interest is shown. Being brand new at selling beads means I wanted to start off small, selling just in the UK and seeing where it went, learning as I go, but the truth is I will go wherever people want me. If you are a jewellery maker, or if you know of a jewellery maker who likes to source unusual beads, please don't hesitate in looking at my shop, pointing them in my direction, or contacting me.

So to finish, I thought I would show of some of those beads that are in my shop :)

Thanks for reading!

  1. Your beads are lovely. I've recently started experimenting with polymer clay to use in my jewellery making. It's amazing what can be done with it. I love your toffee silver and cream beads.
